The FiiO FA19 is a very competitive all-BA IEM that shattered my expectations and restored my faith in the modern-day BA driver’s capacity to produce a great bass performance that rivals some top-notch dynamic drivers.
The Fiio FA19 is now Fiio's most expensive IEM, stretching their range from the affordable ($40 FD11) to the now kilobuck. And while Fiio is known for competing on price-to-value, who's to say that a $1,000 IEM can't do the same?
So, does the Fiio FA19 hit the mark as a solid IEM? For me, absolutely—especially when you look at its technical capabilities and, to some degree, its tonal balance.
